Ceramic may become hot to the touch when heated with a candle. Do not leave unattended or leave around children. Protect your surfaces with a trivet or heat-proof coaster. You may want to place your votive or tealight on a small dish, or round of cardboard, inside the candleholder, for easy wax clean-up.
